SMART Multitouch Competition

Enter the SMART Multitouch Application Contest and Win

Would you like to challenge your computer science students with a real-world project next semester? If so, the SMART Multitouch Application Contest is right for you. Besides gaining valuable experience, your students could win a SMART Table and have their application promoted on the SMART website.

Designing a multitouch application for the SMART Table gives your students a chance to learn about cutting-edge technology – the SMART Table is the first multitouch, multiuser interactive learning center for early education. Winners will have the satisfaction of making learning more fun and interactive for young children around the world.

Prizes

The grand prize for the contest is a SMART Table. We’ll also promote the winning application on the SMART website for one year, giving your school the potential to establish a revenue stream.

The challenge

We’re challenging students to build the most innovative multitouch application for our SMART Table. We already have some applications that help early education students learn to read, do math problems and more, and we know your students can create others that children will want to get their hands on. So take a look at our SMART Table videos and get the creative juices flowing. And don’t worry about not having a SMART Table to test the applications – we can help you build a table emulator.

Visit the SMART Multitouch Application Contest web page at smarttech.com/multitouch for all the details. We’ll be accepting entries until July 1, 2010, which gives you plenty of time to integrate this contest into your teaching plans.
