Podcasting by Oxbridge

BBC have reported that Oxford and Cambridge Universities have started to put lectures onto iTunes.  Should more schools follow suit?  What could be a better way of providing good revision materials and to support pupils who have ‘missed the lesson’.  It would not be wise to advocate recording all lessons as podcasts but would pupils benefit from a podcast synopsis of each unit?  Would it be even more beneficial to involve pupils in preparing podcasts for lessons?  Click the link for the original bbc story.  Click here
