Questioning
January 22, 2006I have just read this article about teaching by only using questions. This is known as the Socratic Method, I came across this via the Scottish Education Blog - an interesting read.
So having read the article, I wonder how many lessons we could teach like this. It is great that students are continually engaged in the lesson and I am sure that it would enhance their learning, but could we do it?

Question, question, question - never tell kids - telling is the last resort - seems to have worked well for 25 years.
